Jaguar has topped the 2012 JD Power Dealer Satisfaction Survey.
It means Jaguar dealers are currently offering the best service to customers with a score of 86.1 per cent.
Published by What Car?, it shows that Lexus (83.6 per cent), Toyota (82.4 per cent), Mercedes-Benz (82.2 per cent) and Honda (81.9 per cent) rounded off the top five.
What Car? editor-in-chief Chas Hallett said the reason Jaguar has fared so well on the list is because it offers the friendliest and helpful staff, the best facilities and good workmanship.
"Customer satisfaction is not just about the product, it's about the whole package and Jaguar is delivering," Mr Hallet remarked.
He added the survey highlights how a lot of manufacturers have a lot of work to do when it comes to customer service.
Among the car makers to perform badly were Mazda (76.9 per cent) - which was ranked 25th - and Chevrolet (71.5 per cent), which placed 27th.
