Community Financial Credit Union announced as part of its annual Member Bonus program, the Credit Union will again be distributing $306,000 to its members. In its fourth year, the program funds will be deposited in the members accounts this week and brings the total amount returned throughout the program duration to more than $1.2 million. Approximately 2,150 members will be receiving deposits this week with varying bonus amounts of $5 to $4,437.

Community Financial Credit Union distributed its first Member Bonus in 2008. Since that time, the Credit Union has introduced its Relationship Rewards program which benefits the Credit Union’s most loyal members. As part of the benefits of Relationship Rewards, Gold and Platinum status members are eligible to receive a Member Bonus and the amount is calculated based on the amount of interest and dividends earned on deposit accounts, as well as the interest a member paid on loans. The total amount is split between interest earned and interest paid.
